Behind the Wheel lessons for students who are completing their class work online is completed in 4- two hour lessons.  You may register prior to completing your online classes to be placed on the roster.  However, you must have your 24  hour completion certificate from your online provider to schedule the in car sessions.   Your final certificate is issued from Driveright upon completion of your drives.  Please allow 3-4  business days for the certificate when scheduling your test date.

We offer a variety of driving packages.  

Traditional after school drives:  call to check for current timeline.

Daytime drive times (Monday-Friday during the school day):  typically start the same week as registration.

Expedited Program:  Looking for quick completion or weekend drive times, this is for you.  (Additional fee for the expedited program)

 

IN PERSON CLASSROOM CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED

 

 

 

Students are required to attend 24 hours of classroom training, plus 8 hours of in-car training. This is in addition to the 50 hours they must drive with their parents. We offer our classes in two hour sessions, and have two classes each Monday through Wednesday.

Students need to attend 12 classes, and may take the classes in any order (except class #12 must be taken last – it is the final test). Many students take two classes a day. Once students have taken classes #1, #2, and #3, they may start to schedule driving sessions. Students will go on four (4) different drives: residential, rural and secondary roads, downtown Dayton and highway, and the last drive is an overview to cover any areas they are not comfortable with and a simulated test.
